Sometimes a dog’s behaviour can be difficult to live with or manage. We know this can be very worrying and upsetting time for the owner and we will guide and support you in overcoming these problems. Dogs can experience a wide variety of emotional and psychological disorders which can cause them distress or trigger undesirable behaviours
Victoria is a reputable and experienced dog behaviourist, a full member of the International Canine Behaviourists and International Companion Animal Network and, therefore you can be assured that she is able to offer you the most up to date, science based, and humane training methods to help restore your relationship with your dog.

1-1 Tailor Made Training
Do you work shifts so can’t commit to a set course? Or feel that group training is not for you or your dog? Do you want a more individual approach and some 1-1 coaching?
- Dogs that are easily distracted, unruly in group courses or out of control in public areas.
- Dogs that would benefit from confidence building or have anxiety.
- Dogs with specific behavioural needs such as aggression towards other dogs or livestock chasing.
- Dogs on the waiting list for courses or owners who work shifts and are unable to attend set courses.
- Owners who need extra coaching to supplement their learning in addition to their group lessons.
Lessons start with an assessment visit either at your home or around other dogs, to observe and assess your dog and discuss the problem with you. This assessment is then followed by practical lessons in the environment in which you need it such as your local park or at home.
In 1-1 training you benefit from individual specific help and your dog is systematically trained in environments with natural distractions such as those in parks, towns and countryside. We cover all aspects of obedience training and general good manners and life skills both at home and on walks.
Walk & Train
Have you got a hectic lifestyle? Or don’t have time or ability to do much training? Why not let us exercise AND train your dog for you? We can then coach you and pass on the skills your dog has acquired. We have a team of experienced Trainers who offer this service.
Reactive Rover Rehabilitation
Victoria has many years experience in dealing with dogs with anxiety. She will guide you through tailor made rehabilitation lessons if it suffers from reactive or aggressive behaviour towards dogs or other people.
This is a specialist field of teaching with each dog/owner team supported and mentored in order to achieve the most effective results. We start with an in depth at-home assessment of your dog, followed by a course of 1-1 lessons to guide you in practical management and desensitisation skills.
We also run Feisty Fido – A Reactive Rover Support Group for practicing your new skills, and Facebook support page which is for owners that have completed our 1-1 programme of training.
Our methods are KIND, FUN and FEAR FREE!
We use positive reinforcement with a strong emphasis on animal welfare combined with in depth and underpinning knowledge of canine behaviour and training.
We do not condone or use physical corrections or aversive equipment such as choke chains, prong collars, rattle cans or slip leads. Our classes and 1-1 lessons are fun, informal and enjoyable for you and your dog. We are proud members of several professional organisations that represent Force and Fear Free Trainers and we aim to teach you to understand your dog’s behaviour so that you can build a trusting cooperative relationship.
Our motto is “Train me – don’t blame me!”
